originality,
ethics and plagiarism...
We truly believe in originality. All projects
are of original concept, design, layout and HTML code. We
know that it is easy to use someone else's design for a client,
especially if the they just love it, but that is not
us. We will not duplicate another site, even a site we have
previously designed for a previous client. We are professional
designers hired to create a solution for each client. We will
not rip off another designer's ideas, and we appreciate those
who do the same. Again, all rights are reserved.

and
other production notes...
The
original concept of the site was created in October 2000,
the site was designed on a Macintosh using Adobe Illustrator
8.0 for both the layout and sitemap. We used the font Matrix Script Bold for the primary navigation and title and Verdana
for all the san-serif text in both images and HTML code.
The
current site was then designed over time on the same Apple
PowerMac G3 running both OS 9.2 and OS X, while using the
latest versions of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and ImageReady. The site was built using BareBones BBEdit and Macromedia Dreamweaver
for the HTML, CSS and Perl/CGI Scripts (form pages).
Custom CSS styles were created for use on the
headers, subheads, links and body copy. All the graphics,
color combinations and text were created from the original
layout and sitemap (flowchart). And all photos and images,
including the portfolio area were created and owned by Darcy
Designs. All rights are reserved.
